Dr. Thapa attended the Manipal College of Medical Sciences in Pokhara , Nepal
where he earned a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). He
completed his residency in Internal Medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx ,
New York which is affiliated with Cornell University . There he received the
Resident of the Year for Professionalism.
Dr. Thapa is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. His special interests include
cardiovascular and respiratory diseases. He joined Reedsport Medical Clinic in
April 2008. He also makes time for trekking, jogging, reading, and catching up
with national and international affairs.
