Michael Ivanitsky M.D. graduated from Stanford University and then completed
medical school as well as his residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Dr Ivanitsky specializes in joint replacement surgery, primarily knees and hips.
He uses the minimally invasive approach in total knee replacement decreasing the
recovery time and hospital stay.
Dr. Ivanitsky is on call 11/14 days for Lower Umpqua Hospital in Reedsport, and
Coquille Valley Hospital in Coquille, Oregon . Emergency surgeries are conducted
at both hospitals. He has clinic each week in both cities seeing patients for a
wide range of general orthopedic problems. Elective surgeries include, knee
arthroscopies, shoulder arthroscopies, carpal tunnel release etc.
In his time off, Dr. Ivanitsky enjoys spending time with his family and
photography.
