Dr. William A. Bennett continues his growing practice in podiatric medicine and surgery. He specializes in ambulatory corrective foot surgery, heel and arch pain, nail and skin problems of the foot and diabetic foot care. Dr. Bennett welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
Dr. Bennett sees patients twice a month at Lower Umpqua Hospital's Specialty Clinic at 385 Ranch Rd. behind the Reedsport Medical Clinic. His main office is located in Woodland Medical Village off Broadway, behind Bay Eye Clinic.
Dr. Bennett enjoys serving the community and feels very much at home as he grew up nearby. He attended Oregon State University and medical school in San Francisco. He completed externships at Veterans Administration San Francisco, Stanford, and Albuquerque. He did a surgical residency at Westside Hospital in Los Angeles where he trained under the direction of podiatric, orthopedic, and general surgeons and did rotations in radiology, internal medicine, orthopedics, pathology, neurology, and anesthesia, enabling him to correlate all aspects of medicine.
